What we can help with

Five kinds of pumps. If you only know the symptom, start there. If you know the pump, open its page.

  1. 01

    Water well pumps

If the well stopped keeping the house in water, we can help. We’ll look at the pump, the motor, the pipe, and the pressure tank, then repair what’s actually worn out.

  2. 02

    Lawn irrigation pumps

If the sprinklers look tired, or the pump in the side yard won’t settle down, we’ll take a look. We repair the pump, tank, and manifold that feed the lawn — not the landscaping itself.

  3. 03

    Commercial sewer pumps

A sewer alarm is stressful, and you shouldn’t have to sort it out alone. We service lift stations, ejectors, and grinder pumps for restaurants, apartments, warehouses, and homes with a bathroom below the sewer line.

  4. 04

    Commercial water pumps

Low pressure upstairs is frustrating, and it’s often a booster, a tired tank, or a valve that isn’t fully open. We repair the commercial water pumps that feed the building, and we’ll explain what we find in plain language.

  5. 05

    Circulating pumps

A little circulator can make a big difference. When hot water takes forever, or one wing of the building goes cold, we’ll repair or replace the pump that keeps the loop moving.

02 — Territory

Where we like to work

Home base is Stockton. The weekly route is the Peninsula and the nearby Bay, plus the valley towns around the shop.

Stockton and nearby

Wells on the county edges, irrigation on larger lots, and commercial sewer and water pumps in town. Lodi, Manteca, Tracy, Lathrop, Ripon, Linden, and French Camp are all welcome.

The Peninsula and nearby Bay

San Francisco down through Palo Alto. Boosters, ejectors, circulators, HOA irrigation, and the private wells that are still up in the hills.

03 — Who calls

Homes, HOAs, and small commercial buildings

Not a municipal crew and not a call center. These are the jobs that actually fill the week.

  1. 01 Homes and private wells

Submersible and jet pumps, pressure tanks, and the controls that start them. We don’t drill the well.

  2. 02 HOAs and lawns

Centrifugal boosters and sprinkler pumps that feed a yard, a common area, or a long set of zones.

  3. 03 Restaurants and apartments

Sewage ejectors, grinders, and the small bronze pumps that keep hot water moving.

  4. 04 Commercial buildings

Domestic booster sets, duplex lift stations, and circulators in the mechanical room.

04 — Process

How a call usually goes

No phone tree. You talk with the person who will come look at the pump.

  1. 01 Tell us what’s going on

The address, whether it’s a well or city water, and what changed: no water, an alarm, a leak, or a pump that won’t shut off.

  2. 02 We’ll look before we guess

Controls, the tank, and the valves get checked before we say a pump needs replacing. The price comes after that look.

  3. 03 Repair it and make sure it runs

We set the replacement, start it up, and leave the pressure where your system can live with it comfortably.

05 — Before you call

A few things worth knowing

Our license covers pumps, not drilling a new well. Here are the short answers, or browse the full FAQ.

Where are you based, and where do you work?

We’re a small shop based in Stockton. The regular route is the San Francisco Peninsula and the nearby Bay — San Francisco down through Palo Alto — plus the San Joaquin County towns around home. If you’re a little outside that, call anyway. We’ll say honestly if we can make the trip.

Which pumps do you work on?

Water well pumps, lawn irrigation pumps, commercial sewer pumps, commercial water pumps, and circulating pumps. That includes the everyday equipment on those systems: submersibles, jet pumps, boosters, lift stations, grinders, ejectors, and hot-water or heating circulators.

Are you a well driller or a general plumber?

Neither, and that’s useful to know up front. Our license is California CSLB #722897, classification D-21, machinery and pumps. We don’t drill wells or remodel bathrooms. If the pump, motor, or its controls are the trouble, we’d be glad to help.

How do I get a price?

Call (650) 365-2241 with the address, the kind of pump, and what it’s doing. A firm price usually needs a look at the equipment. We’d rather see it and give you a clear number than guess over the phone.
